Three steps of the Law of Attraction, were outlined in the film “The Secret”, does anyone remember this?
Last night I watched the film for the first time in 10 years and wrote down the steps –
- Declare your intention
- Visualize the end result
- Plug into the emotions
Did you get them? By now, these have become pretty mainstream visioning techniques. But, what I did not spot the first time I saw the film was that people who had learned to “master the universe” were the ones who had HABITUATED this way of being.
That is a total game-changer.
Esther Hicks says in the film that there is always a perfect match between what you believe, what you feel and what you experience. So, this is not about your thoughts it is about your beliefs. A belief is a habituated thought.
So, how do you create new beliefs? – you develop a practice – a habituated process of reprogramming your exiting thoughts. Because our brains are plastic, not concrete – this is entirely possible.
How do you habituate this process?
Well, the steps are remarkably similar to the ones for the law of attraction – outlined above, but you need to commit to doing it consistently.
Simple – but, like me ten years ago, most people know what to do but don’t do what they know, and yet wonder why they don’t get the results they want.
