Laughter is the Best Medicine!
I love a good laugh. It makes me feel good, releases tension and makes me feel good about the person I’m laughing with, too. There is actual evidence that laughter has physical, emotional, and social benefits and is a solution for releasing stress and can make us more creative and productive. There are loads of funny videos and stuff on the internet when we need a good laugh, but can you make yourself laugh for no reason?
I once did a laughter yoga session with a teacher, and once we got over the slight awkwardness, there was genuine laughter.
So, particularly on days like today when we are in such proximity with family members who are getting on your nerves, and the lock-up honeymoon feeling is over, and you are struggling for focus or motivation.
