Creating Powerful Relationships

I talk to Jake Sasseville about Liberia, West Africa, its history, and my work there and then we Simon’s detour into relationships.

Podcast Notes

Simon Crowe is one of these superhuman characters in the world — not because of all that he has accomplished, but because of how he shows up in conversation and in the lives of those around him.

Although our conversation started out about Liberia, West Africa, its history, and his work there and around the world with coaches and peak performance specialists, it’s Simon’s detour into his relationship that is most revealing, and in the process, instructive, for the rest of us looking for, or being OK with being in, Love.

Simon Crowe: “If we hold onto it, it means we don’t actually think we can keep it in our lives. By letting go (of my relationship) there was so much more of it that instantly became available.”

Thank you Simon!

I have learnt to recognise opportunities to step beyond my comfort zone in the pursuit of things that bring me true fulfilment – it was a small tweak that has ended up making a significant difference. We now speak on a regular basis and Simon has become the voice which says “you can do this”.
